Epilepsy and Medical Cannabis From a Patient's Point of View

Dear friends, with epilepsy or epileptic children or epileptic loved ones.
When I first started using medical cannabis I did feel like I was going to
have a seizure and YES, it scared me. My son, kept encouraging me to
try, and get past it. He kept assuring me I would be alright. I did not feel
like I was going to be fine it felt like an aura and those of us with seizures
know what that means! I am so happy to report that with a 50:50 ratio of
THC to CBD I know longer have those moments of anxiety dreading that
my heart rate increase is an indicator of an impending seizure. That is what
many of us "feel" right before a seizure. A heart rate increase and other
things similar to the effects of medical cannabis. Trust me on this one,
before CBD I was able to reduce my grand mal seizures 1000% from 4 a
week to 4 a year. But it did scare me each time because for the first year
and one half I did not have access to any CBD rich strains. I am talking
about smoking or vaping patients here not those on tincturess or capsules.

However, after an experience I had on a THC capsule targeting my pain I
believe the delivery system to be less the important in my personal
observation and experience. Some of you do not know how your loved ones
feel, I want to share what I felt so you will know how to give us the comfort
we need. This problem was so huge for me I almost quit trying!
