Our Right To Quality of Life
I am a long way from what will always be my home.
I am in a distant place much like an experimental dome.
I am in this special place where there are many so I am not alone.
Most things ended up the way I had always hoped and dreamed.
Many things were very painful so at times I could not help but scream.
I am in a place where knowledge and research is the name of the game.
There was a tragic accident and it left me and others quite lame.
We are searching for answers so some suffering can come to a halt.
Injuries and disease are running ramped and we need relief from the assault.
I no longer feel the emotion fear because together we are all finding hope.
As long as we all have hope, together, we can continue to cope.
I just needed legal access to medical cannabis, and that took me far from home.
Now there are many in need, and I am blessed to be a part of a kinder tone!
We are all warriors fighting for the rights of so many in need.
We are all warriors and we do not give up, we are determined to succeed!
