JOHANNESBURG - Purple Day also known as World Day for Epilepsy Awareness will be celebrated on March 26, 2014.

Epilepsy affects over 65 million people worldwide, and on Saturday a group of young activists took their message to Sandton City mall.

And gave shoppers a dose of their reality.

Their parents, who were there for moral support, could not contain their excitement.
