A Date With Fate

A Date With Fate

Fate can be quite cruel.
Fate has no respect for the golden rule.
Fate often produces adverse outcomes.
Fate does not discriminate it gets all not some.
We did not choose when we met fate.
We did not get to choose the time or date.
We are all negatively impacted by fate’s gate.
We did not choose this extra harsh life weight.
We never imagined loss could be so very great.
Fate can also be a new beginning or a new dawn.
We don’t have to let fate control us like it's pawn.
We can choose to reach out and help others instead.
Fate touched our life and many of us should be dead.
Fate gave us a chance to be thankful for the little things.
Fate gave us another chance for the wounded, sick and
battered to again spread our wings!
